Generation 1

Robert PROCTOR b. abt 1796/97 in possibly Freshford, County Kilkenny, Ireland; died 19 Jan.1852 (tombstone) or 2 Jan.1851 (deed); buried in Clinton Cemetery; religion - Church of England.

He married before 1831 in Ireland to Ann ANDERSON (b.ca.1798/99 in Tipperary, Ireland; d.31/28 May 1863; buried in Clinton Cemetery).

Robert Proctor homesteaded (about 1839) on Lot 27 Con.11 just south of Holmesville in Goderich Twp., Huron Co., Ontario, Canada.

Robert and Ann are buried in the Clinton Cemetery with a son, Simon:
