1870s California Loop Seat Saddle

This reproduction saddle was made by the Pullman Saddle Company for the movie industry. It's a loop seat saddle representative of the 1870s.

This is a slick fork saddle with round skirts and bucking rolls. The seat measures 16" from the horn to cantle. It has a full Quarter Horse tree.

It is basket weave stamped with horse heads carved into the fenders. The saddle comes with its original saddlebags, tapaderos, and an 1870s style breast collar (not shown). The cantle, horn cap, and leading edge of the gullet are rawhide wrapped.

It's just the ticket for cowboy mounted shooting. See the this saddle in the video on my Cowboy Mounted Shooting page.

The breast collar and ox-bow stirrups seen in the video are not included.
