Kasidy May is a 6 year-old (May 19, 2003), gray roan mare that stands 15.2 hands, and weighs 1120 pounds. She is sweet, gentle, a bit strong willed, but just may be the nicest horse I've ever owned.
She is AQHA registered: She is a Cowboy Mounted Shooting horse trained in 2007, by Roy Cox at Cox Performance Horses in Galena, Missouri.
Kasidy was a green-broke filly when I bought her, so in 2009 I sent her to Pete and Barry McAleenan in Fort Collins, Colorado to put some handle on her. I can highly recommend the McAleenans to finish off a horse and make 'em safe. Quien Sabe -- maybe we'll try some reining events someday. They sure taught Kasidy the skills.
Pete, who is 83, was a long time associate of the famous horseman Monte Foreman, and uses many of the "Horse - Training Science" techniques developed by Monte.
